Akwa Ibom Science and Technology Park

SBTJ Africa is involved in the development of the Science and Technology Park Free-Trade Zone in Uyo, Akwa Ibom, Nigeria . Albert Awolaja recently commissioned three Uyo manned sites as part of the development project and confirmed that further Uyo manned sites will be opened shortly. The project has been developing at various phases over the past three years with a office building occupied by SBTJ Nigeria completed last year. Progress on the main Science and Technology Park building has been slow while matters relating to further investment are resolved between SBTJ Africa and the State Government. Mr. Awolaja confirmed that SBTJ Africa remains committed to the successful completion of the Science and Technology Park project and has confirmed that there are a number of investors who have shown interest in participating in the project on its completion. Trevor Juul confirmed that they have made an alternative offer for the completion of the project to the State Government and are awaiting their response.
