International Hotel Procurement

From concept to reality.  The IHP goal is to provide and procure solutions where nothing is too big, too small or too challenging for us to handle.  What the project requires we will provide and made a reality with our fair, style, quality and commitment that has become our trademark.

 

International Hotel Procurement (Pty) Ltd was established in 2003 as a cc and in 2007 it was registered as a Pty Ltd.  This young company has already made a name for itself within African borders which include the procurement for Le Méridien Capital Hotel in Malawi , Science and Technology Park in Nigeria , Holiday Inn in Tanzania , etc.  In 2007 IHP spread its wings and is now not only involved in specialty interiors and soft furnishings but heavy duty procurement such as lifts, air conditioners, etc.  This means working closely with the mechanical and electrical engineers, which is a challenging new progression in the field of procurement.

 

IHP will source the best quality and best price for any product world wide.  All import and export requirements can also handled by IHP as we believe that a “hands on” attitude bridges the gap and all requirements are met under one roof.  We also believe in supporting local businesses in African countries where the projects are active. 

As a procurement company, IHP works very closely with the M&E’s and interior designers of a project.  We are hands on and are aware of deadlines as per the roll out programme at all times.  Choices of preferred products and suppliers are based on the requirements of each project as these vary from project to project.  As we have successfully worked in Africa and most recently Nigeria we are fully aware of certain requirements that our wonderful continent demands. 

When working on a project there are some immediate and long term criteria which are to be considered as they also influence the choice of products, to name but a few:

The site itself and surrounding areas

Understanding the country and its infrastructure

Time allocated for project to be completed

Climate of the area especially humidity

Cleaning systems and cost

Purpose of the project

Size of the project, especially the number of rooms

Partnerships within the project and their requirements

Budget

Trends both locally and internationally

IHP will work in close relations with interior designers and will do procurement for complete interior fit out.
